Here are just a few of the amazing animals that have been available or sourced for clients in the past.
One of my absolute favorites. Males can grow to over 500lb in weight. A shelled miniature elephant in its own right. CITES Appendix II
Aldabra Giant Tortoises
The worlds largest flying parrot but friendly and stunning. CITES Appendix I due to habitat loss in its native Brazil.
Hyacinth Macaw
Very rare to find these stunning lizards outside of their native island. Captive bred and CITES appendix II, they are not easy to obtain.
Galapagos Land Iguana
To our knowledge this is the only Blue Biak Locality Python to ever be available in the UK. An extremely rare colour morph.
Blue Biak Locality Tree Python
Pair of Abronia Taeniata
An unusual, mainly arboreal mammal with a prehensile tail. Can tame well although not for the faint of heart. CITES Appendix III
Binturong or Bearcat
Albino Coatimundis are very rare in the UK and we managed to source a breeding pair! An unusual and striking animal.
Albino Coati
Another of my favorites and absolutely fascinating to observe. Great little animals with real personality.
Nine-banded Armadillo
A common bird in its native form but there are some really unusual colour morphs being bred now that are truly stunning.
Colour-morph Peafowl
This is a tiny fox that is mainly nocturnal and can be timid. It needs gently time and patience but is very rewarding.
Fennec Fox
Crowned Cranes
Demoiselle cranes
Another animal that is rarely seen in the UK. This unusual animal is on the DWA list although it is far from dangerous!
Aardvark
A delicate Swan that is more the size of a goose and less aggressive than most swans. The legs are far back so designed to swim, not walk!
Black Necked Swans
The Opossum is a bit like Marmite. A small marsupial that is common to many countries and a pest in some. An unusual animal to see in the UK
Opossum
Another of my absolute favorites. Stunning, fascinating and really friendly with a penchant for honey as a treat! No teeth, just tongue!
Southern Tamandua
Can make great pets if you have the space and the time. Rare to find with full CITES paperwork and we found a pair!
Pair of Lace Monitor Lizards
A penguin that doesn't like the cold! Obviously a very specialist captive bred animal. Its numbers are struggling in the wild.
